The Value Collection 22515 is a free-running helical wire insert designed to restore or reinforce internal threads in metal components. Manufactured from stainless steel with a bright, uncoated finish, this insert installs into a pre-tapped host material to provide a hardened, corrosion-resistant thread form. The 7/16-14 UNC thread size and 0.656-inch overall length make it a direct-fit solution for standard coarse-thread applications. At a 1-1/2D length-to-diameter ratio with 7-3/8 free coils, it delivers consistent thread engagement across a range of base materials including aluminum, cast iron, and softer alloys.
