The VALUE COLLECTION 22158 is a cylinder-shaped mounted point abrasive designed for precision grinding, deburring, and surface finishing on metal and other hard materials. Built with aluminum oxide abrasive and a vitrified bond, this mounted point delivers consistent stock removal at a medium grade with 60 grit. It fits a 1/4-inch shank for use with standard die grinders and rotary tools. Rated to a maximum of 36,510 RPM, it handles demanding grind work without sacrificing control. Machinists, tool and die makers, and maintenance technicians are the primary users of this type of abrasive point.
This mounted point suits applications in metal fabrication shops, maintenance facilities, and production environments where internal grinding, cavity work, or weld cleanup is required. The W204 cylinder shape provides flat-ended contact, making it effective for working on flat surfaces, slots, and recessed areas. It is sold individually and is compatible with die grinders and rotary tools accepting a 1/4-inch shank collet.
Designed for use with die grinders and rotary tools fitted with a 1/4-inch collet. Suitable for grinding and finishing ferrous and non-ferrous metals in general shop and maintenance applications.
Mounted points must be installed in a tool collet that matches the 1/4-inch shank diameter and tightened securely before operation. Always verify the tool spindle speed does not exceed the 36,510 RPM maximum rating marked for this abrasive. Inspect the mounted point for chips or cracks before each use and discard any damaged units immediately. Eye protection and appropriate PPE are required when operating grinding accessories.
