The VALUE COLLECTION 219-3016 is a Morse taper end mill holder designed to mount end mills in milling machines, machining centers, and knee mills equipped with a 3MT (No. 3 Morse Taper) spindle. The holder accepts a 1/2-inch bore and provides a 2.047-inch projection from the spindle face to the tool centerline, giving the cutter adequate clearance for most standard milling operations. It does not include through-coolant capability. Machinists and tool-room technicians use this holder for face milling, slotting, and contouring work where a secure, repeatable taper-to-spindle interface is required.

This end mill holder is suited for manual and CNC milling machines with a No. 3 Morse Taper spindle bore. Typical applications include light to medium material removal on ferrous and non-ferrous stock in job shop, maintenance, and production environments. The 2.047-inch projection accommodates standard-length end mills without excessive overhang. No through-coolant port means flood or mist coolant must be applied externally at the cutting zone.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before inserting or removing the holder. Clean the taper bore and holder shank thoroughly to remove chips, oil film, and grit before seating — any debris on the taper contact surfaces will affect runout and pull-out resistance. Drive the holder into the spindle taper using a soft-face mallet or draw bar as appropriate to the machine design; never use a steel hammer directly on the shank.
