The VALUE COLLECTION 210-5066 is an end mill holder designed for milling machines and machining centers equipped with an NMTB50 taper spindle. The holder accepts a 1-1/4 inch bore and provides 3.5 inches of projection from the spindle face to the cutting tool seat, giving the setup clearance needed for most standard end milling operations. The nose diameter measures 2-1/2 inches. With a total runout (TIR) of 0.0004 inches, this holder maintains tight tolerances that are critical for accurate material removal and surface finish. Machinists and tool room technicians install this holder directly onto NMTB50 spindles using the standard 1-8 drawbar thread.
This end mill holder is suited for horizontal and vertical milling machines and machining centers running NMTB50 tooling in job shop, production, and maintenance environments. It is appropriate for use with 1-1/4 inch shank end mills in ferrous and non-ferrous material cutting applications. The 3.5 inch projection accommodates deeper workpiece setups where a shorter holder would not provide adequate clearance. Coolant is not routed through this holder, so external coolant delivery should be used when flood or mist cooling is required.
Designed for use with milling machines and machining centers fitted with an NMTB50 taper spindle and a 1-8 drawbar thread. Accepts 1-1/4 inch shank end mills. Through-coolant is not supported; use external coolant delivery methods on machines where coolant is required.
Installation is performed by machinists or tool room technicians. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before inserting or removing the holder. Ensure the spindle taper and holder taper are clean and free of chips or oil before seating the tool. Torque the drawbar according to the machine manufacturer specifications for NMTB50 tooling. Do not use the holder if the taper or bore shows visible wear, fretting, or damage.
