It measures 0.113 inches in diameter with a 135-degree split point that self-centers on contact, reducing walking and the need for a center punch. The oxide coating provides a degree of lubricity and surface hardness. At 2-5/8 inches overall length, this is a compact bit suited for tight-clearance applications where a jobber-length bit would not fit. Right-hand cut spiral flutes evacuate chips efficiently during through-hole operations.
