The VALUE COLLECTION -20550-2 is a single-end square end mill designed for milling flat surfaces, slots, and shoulders in a wide range of workpiece materials. Constructed from high speed steel (HSS) with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, it offers improved surface hardness and wear resistance compared to uncoated HSS tooling. The cutter measures 1/8 inch in diameter with a 3/8 inch length of cut and a 2-5/16 inch overall length. Four spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation and a smooth cutting action. This end mill is center-cutting, allowing it to plunge directly into material as well as profile and slot.

This end mill is suited for light-duty milling operations on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites in job shop, toolroom, and maintenance machining environments.
