The VALUE COLLECTION 204-3214 is an ER32 collet designed for use in CNC machining centers, manual mills, lathes, and other rotating toolholding applications. The collet accepts a 0.219 inch (7/32 inch) bore diameter and holds a Total Indicator Runout (TIR) of 0.0005 inches, making it suitable for precision work where concentricity and repeatability matter. ER32 collets are a widely used industry-standard format compatible with a broad range of ER32 collet chucks and tool holders. Machinists and toolroom technicians install this collet to secure cutting tools, drill bits, or round-shank tooling during material removal operations.
This ER32 collet is appropriate for both production and job-shop environments. It fits standard ER32 collet chucks used on vertical machining centers, horizontal mills, CNC lathes, and manual milling machines. The 0.219 inch bore size suits tooling with a 7/32 inch shank diameter, a common size for end mills, reamers, and drill blanks used in light-to-medium duty cutting. ER32 collets are installed and removed by a machinist or toolroom technician using an ER32 collet nut and the appropriate spanner wrench. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing collets. Inspect the collet bore and chuck taper for chips or contamination before seating the collet, as debris will increase runout and reduce tool life. Do not exceed the manufacturer-rated clamping range for the collet bore size.
