The VALUE COLLECTION 204-3212 is an ER32 collet designed for use in ER32-compatible collet chucks on CNC machining centers, manual milling machines, and lathes. It accepts a 3/16 inch (0.1874 inch decimal) shank and holds a total indicator runout (TIR) of 0.0005 inches, making it suitable for precision work where concentricity and repeatability are critical. Machinists and CNC operators install this collet when holding small-diameter round tooling or workpieces in ER32 chuck systems. The part weighs 0.31 pounds.
This ER32 collet fits standard ER32 collet chuck holders used in production machining, tool-and-die work, and general-purpose milling and turning operations. It is sized for 3/16 inch tooling, covering applications such as holding end mills, drills, reamers, and round bar stock within that nominal diameter range. Sold individually, it is a direct drop-in for any ER32 system requiring a 3/16 inch capacity collet.
Designed for use with ER32-series collet chuck holders. Compatible with any machine spindle or toolholder built to the ER32 collet standard.
Installation is performed by machinists or CNC operators. Before inserting or removing the collet, ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the control is in an e-stop or locked-out state per OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Seat the collet fully into the ER32 nut before threading onto the chuck body, and tighten with the appropriate ER32 spanner wrench to the chuck manufacturer's specified procedure. Do not use impact tools on the collet nut.
