The VALUE COLLECTION 204-2524 is an ER25 series collet sized at 0.375 inches (3/8 inch) with a total indicator runout (TIR) of 0.0005 inches. ER collets are precision workholding components used in CNC machining, milling, drilling, and tapping operations. This collet fits ER25-compatible tool holders and chuck bodies, gripping round shank cutting tools concentrically to maintain accuracy during high-speed rotation. The 0.0005-inch TIR rating ensures minimal runout, which is critical for maintaining dimensional accuracy and extending cutting tool life in production and job-shop environments.
This ER25 collet is suited for use in vertical and horizontal machining centers, CNC milling machines, drill presses, and router spindles that accept ER25 tool holders. It is commonly installed by machinists and CNC operators in both light manufacturing and precision machining environments. The 3/8-inch bore accommodates standard round-shank end mills, drills, reamers, and taps of matching diameter.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit collet for ER25-compatible tool holders and chuck bodies accepting 0.375-inch round-shank tooling.
Installation is performed by machinists or CNC operators. Always power down and lock out the spindle before inserting or removing collets. Seat the collet fully into the ER25 nut before threading the nut onto the chuck body — never tighten the nut without the collet and tool properly seated. Clean the collet bore, tool shank, and chuck taper before assembly to avoid debris-induced runout.
