The VALUE COLLECTION 204-2512 is an ER25 series collet designed for use in ER25-compatible collet chucks on CNC machining centers, lathes, and milling machines. It accepts a 0.1874 inch (3/16 inch) shank diameter and holds a Total Indicator Runout (TIR) of 0.0005 inches, providing the concentricity control required for precision cutting tool and workholding applications. This collet is a standard component in machine shops and manufacturing environments where consistent tool holding is critical to part quality and tool life.
This ER25 collet is suited for use in vertical and horizontal machining centers, CNC mills, and lathes equipped with ER25 collet chucks. It accommodates straight-shank cutting tools, drill bits, end mills, and reamers with a 3/16 inch shank. The 0.1874 inch bore size makes it appropriate for both production and toolroom environments where precise shank engagement is required.
Designed for use with ER25-series collet chucks. Accepts 3/16 inch straight-shank cutting tools and workholding shanks. Verify chuck series and bore size before installation.
ER collets are installed and removed by machining or toolroom personnel using an appropriate ER25 collet nut and spanner wrench. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing collets. Inspect the collet bore, seating taper, and mating chuck for chips, wear, or damage before assembly. Do not exceed the collet's clamping range or use a collet to grip undersized shanks beyond its designed collapse range.
