The VALUE COLLECTION 204-2026 is an ER20-series ER collet designed for use in CNC machining centers, milling machines, and compatible toolholding systems. This collet accepts a nominal bore size of 0.4059 inches (13/32 inch) and holds a Total Indicator Runout (TIR) of 0.0005 inches, making it suitable for precision workholding applications where concentricity and repeatability matter. Machinists and tool crib professionals rely on ER collets like this one to securely grip cutting tools, drills, and round-shank tooling during metal removal operations.
This ER20 collet is used in light-duty to medium-duty CNC milling, drilling, and tapping setups where the ER20 collet nut and compatible spindle or toolholder are already in use. The 0.4059-inch bore accommodates standard round-shank tooling at that diameter. It is a single-piece collet sold individually and is appropriate for job shops, production facilities, and maintenance machining environments.
Designed for use with ER20-standard toolholders, collet chucks, and collet nuts that accept the ER20 collet series.
ER collets are installed and removed by machinists or toolroom technicians using a proper ER20 collet nut and spanner wrench. Always ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before changing collets. Insert the collet into the collet nut before placing it into the toolholder bore, and torque the nut to the toolholder manufacturer specification. Inspect the collet bore and seating surface for chips or wear before each use to maintain TIR performance.
