The VALUE COLLECTION 204-2022 is an ER20 series collet designed for use in CNC machining centers, milling machines, and toolholding systems that accept the ER20 collet standard. With a decimal inch bore size of 0.3437 inches (11/32 inch), this collet delivers a total indicator runout (TIR) of 0.0005 inches, providing the precision required for accurate material removal and consistent tool engagement. Machinists and toolroom technicians install this collet into compatible ER20 collet chucks or collet nuts to secure end mills, drills, reamers, and other round-shank cutting tools during machining operations.
This collet is suited for light to medium-duty machining applications in both production shop and job shop environments. The ER20 collet series is widely used in compact machining centers and manual milling setups where a smaller spindle nose diameter is appropriate. The 0.3437-inch bore accommodates tools with a matching shank diameter, making it a direct selection for 11/32-inch shank tooling commonly used in general-purpose machining tasks.

Installation is performed by machinists or toolroom technicians using a compatible ER20 collet chuck and the appropriate collet nut wrench. The spindle must be stopped and the machine placed in a safe, de-energized state before changing collets. The collet should be seated fully into the collet nut before threading onto the chuck body to avoid cross-threading or uneven clamping. Do not exceed the rated clamping torque range specified by the chuck manufacturer for ER20 collet nuts.
