The VALUE COLLECTION 201061P is a button socket cap screw designed for applications requiring a low-profile head with a secure hex socket drive. Built from alloy steel with a black oxide coating, this fastener provides corrosion resistance and a clean, matte finish. The 10-24 UNC thread and 3/4-inch length under the head make it well suited for clamping panels, guards, and housings where head clearance is limited. Hardness is rated at 36 to 43 HRC, meeting the dimensional and mechanical requirements of ANSI/ASME B18.3 and ASTM F835. The 1/8-inch hex socket drive is engaged with a standard hex key or Allen driver. Installation requires a 3A thread fit class mating component.
This screw is used across a wide range of industrial and mechanical assembly applications, including HVAC equipment panels, electrical enclosures, pump housings, and general machine assembly. The button head profile keeps the fastener below or flush with surrounding surfaces where a standard socket cap head would create interference. The fully threaded shank allows engagement along the entire bolt length, which is advantageous in thin-material assemblies. Suitable for both production assembly and field service use by mechanical, HVAC, and electrical tradespeople.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or general-use fastener for any application requiring a 10-24 UNC, 3A thread fit class, fully threaded button socket cap screw with a 3/4-inch length under the head.
Installation is performed with a 1/8-inch hex key or T-handle Allen driver. De-energize and lock out any equipment before replacing fasteners on live electrical or mechanical assemblies, following applicable OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Do not exceed the rated hardness or substitute this fastener in structural or safety-critical joints without verifying load requirements against the ASTM F835 specification. Thread the screw in by hand before applying torque to avoid cross-threading the mating component.
