The VALUE COLLECTION 1XD.NSB is a malleable iron pipe bushing designed to reduce a 1-inch pipe thread to a 1/2-inch pipe thread. Galvanized for corrosion resistance, this bushing handles liquid and gas service up to 300 psi and steam service up to 150 psi. It carries a Class 150 rating, making it a standard fitting for general-purpose piping systems. Plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors install this bushing when transitioning between pipe sizes in low- to medium-pressure systems handling water, air, gas, or steam.

This bushing is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC hydronic systems, gas distribution piping, and compressed air lines. The 1-inch male threads connect to a female-threaded fitting or valve, while the 1/2-inch female threads accept a smaller-diameter pipe or fitting. Installation Notes
