The VALUE COLLECTION 190AR-50 is a single-stage argon welding regulator designed to control and deliver argon gas flow from a high-pressure cylinder to a welding torch or related equipment. It covers a flow range of 0 to 50 SCFH and handles inlet pressures up to 3,000 psi. The 580 CGA inlet connection is the standard fitting for argon and mixed-gas cylinders. The male fitting uses a 5/8-18 thread with right-hand rotation. This regulator is installed by welding professionals and industrial gas technicians working in MIG, TIG, and inert-gas-shielded welding applications.
This regulator is suited for argon cylinder service in both shop and field welding environments. The 580 CGA inlet is specific to argon and argon-blend cylinders, making this unit appropriate for TIG and MIG welding setups where pure argon or argon-rich shielding gas is required. It is a common selection for light industrial, fabrication shop, and maintenance welding stations where consistent, adjustable flow rates are needed across a range of material thicknesses and weld processes.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit regulator for argon and argon-blend cylinder service using the 580 CGA inlet connection standard.
Installation should be performed by a qualified welding technician or industrial gas professional. Always close the cylinder valve and bleed residual pressure from the regulator before connecting or disconnecting. Inspect the CGA 580 inlet connection and seat for debris or damage before threading onto the cylinder valve. Do not use pipe thread sealant or tape on CGA fittings, as these connections rely on metal-to-metal or nylon seat seals.
