The Value Collection 183-6767 is a single-end corner rounding end mill designed to cut precise convex radii on workpiece edges. Built from M2 high speed steel and finished with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, it delivers improved hardness and wear resistance compared to uncoated HSS tooling. The mill measures 1-1/8 inches in diameter with a 21/64-inch radius, a 3/4-inch shank, and four right-hand flutes with right-hand cutting direction. It is suited for manual and CNC milling operations where a consistent edge radius is required on steel, aluminum, and similar machinable materials.
This corner rounding end mill is used in job shops, tool rooms, and production environments for edge-breaking and radius blending on milled parts. It is a single-end design, meaning all cutting geometry is on one end, which is standard for general-purpose milling setups. Typical applications include finishing passes on fixture plates, die components, and machined housings where a uniform convex radius is specified on the print.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for 1-1/8 inch diameter, 3/4 inch shank corner rounding end mills in standard milling machine toolholders accepting a 3/4-inch straight shank.
Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or toolholder and torque the retention mechanism according to the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Inspect the TiN coating and cutting edges for chips before use, as a damaged edge will affect radius geometry and surface finish.
