The VALUE COLLECTION 182-6155 is a single-end corner rounding end mill designed to machine smooth, consistent radius profiles on workpiece edges. Built from M2 high speed steel with a bright uncoated finish, this tool is suited for general-purpose milling operations on steel, aluminum, and similar materials. It features a 7/8 inch cutting diameter and a 15/64 inch corner radius, with 4 flutes oriented in a right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction. The 1/2 inch shank diameter provides a secure fit in standard collet and end mill holders. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals commonly specify this style of cutter for deburring, edge-breaking, and decorative radius work on milled components.
This corner rounding end mill is used in vertical milling machines, CNC machining centers, and manual knee mills for both prototype and production applications. Typical jobs include radiusing the edges of brackets, frames, housings, and machined plates where a consistent 15/64 inch radius is required. The bright uncoated finish makes it a practical choice for shops that run at moderate speeds and feeds without high-temperature coatings. It is a single-end tool, meaning the cutting geometry is on one end only, and it is run in a standard right-hand spindle rotation.
Designed as a general-purpose corner rounding end mill for use in vertical mills and CNC machining centers with a standard 1/2 inch collet or end mill holder and right-hand spindle rotation.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and the machine powered down. Secure the 1/2 inch shank firmly in a clean, properly sized collet or end mill holder before operation. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use, as a damaged cutter can affect surface finish and dimensional accuracy. Follow the machine manufacturer and tooling supplier guidelines for appropriate speeds and feeds for the workpiece material.
