The VALUE COLLECTION 16863 is a 1-inch CPVC pipe union designed for use in chlorinated polyvinyl chloride piping systems. This union joins two sections of pipe at a break point, allowing the line to be disconnected and reassembled without cutting. The fitting uses an EPDM O-ring seal at the union nut interface to provide a leak-resistant connection under normal service conditions. Slip x slip end connections accept standard 1-inch CPVC pipe for solvent-cement installation.
