Packaged in a 1-pound spool, this 25-gauge wire features a 50 core construction that delivers consistent flux distribution during soldering. The eutectic 63/37 alloy melts at a single temperature point, reducing the chance of cold joints and improving joint reliability. It is suited for electronics assembly, PCB rework, and component-level repair work performed by electricians, HVAC technicians servicing control boards, and electronics technicians working on low-voltage circuits.
This solder wire is designed for no-clean applications where residue removal after soldering is not practical or required. The flux residue left after soldering is minimal and electrically non-conductive, making it appropriate for use on populated circuit boards, control modules, and similar electronic assemblies. It is commonly used in both bench repair environments and field service situations where a clean, reliable solder joint is required without a post-solder cleaning step.
