The VALUE COLLECTION 13266 is a black-finish malleable iron 45 degree elbow rated for threaded pipe connections at 1-1/4 inch fitting size. It carries a Class 150 designation and a liquid and gas pressure rating of 300 psi, making it a reliable choice for both piping runs in commercial and residential mechanical systems. The black finish is standard for gas distribution lines, and the malleable iron construction provides the ductility needed to handle mechanical stress without cracking. This fitting is installed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians working on gas or fluid piping systems. It ships in a pack of 5 units, suitable for contractors completing multiple connections on a single job.
The 13266 45 degree elbow is used wherever a directional change in a threaded pipe run is required at an angle less than 90 degrees. Typical applications include natural gas supply lines, propane distribution, steam systems, and hydronic heating piping. The threaded end connections accept standard NPT pipe fittings, which is the most common connection type in residential and light commercial mechanical work. This fitting is well suited for branch routing around obstructions or for connecting gas drops to appliances in confined mechanical spaces.
Designed as a standard NPT-threaded malleable iron fitting suitable for Class 150 threaded pipe systems in residential and commercial gas and fluid piping applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local codes and the International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC) or International Plumbing Code (IPC) where required. Shut off and verify isolation of the gas or fluid supply before disassembling any existing piping or installing new fittings. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape rated for the service medium to all threaded connections before assembly. Do not overtighten threaded fittings, as malleable iron threads can be damaged by excessive force.
