The VALUE COLLECTION 13132 is a Class 150 malleable iron countersunk hex plug designed to seal pipe ends in gas, liquid, and steam distribution systems. The 1/2 inch fitting carries a 300 psi pressure rating for liquid and gas service and a 150 psi rating for steam. A galvanized finish provides corrosion resistance in exposed or moderately harsh environments. Plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors install this type of plug to cap unused branch outlets, test ports, or dead-end runs in both new construction and retrofit work.

This countersunk hex plug is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, hydronic heating, compressed air, and low-pressure gas piping. The countersunk head profile sits flush or recessed, which is useful in tight clearances where a raised head would interfere with adjacent components. Installation Notes
