The VALUE COLLECTION 13101 is a malleable iron pipe bushing designed to reduce a 1/2-inch female pipe thread down to a 1/8-inch male pipe thread. This galvanized Class 150 fitting handles liquid and gas service up to 300 psi and steam service up to 150 psi. Malleable iron construction gives the fitting the ductility needed to withstand vibration and mechanical stress in pressurized piping systems. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians install this type of bushing when adapting between different pipe sizes within a threaded iron piping system.

This bushing is suited for residential and light commercial applications in gas, water, and steam piping where a threaded reducer is needed between two NPT connections. Typical installations include natural gas supply lines, compressed air distribution, hydronic heating systems, and general plumbing rough-in work. Installation Notes
