The VALUE COLLECTION 116AL35160D is a liquid-filled analog pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure monitoring in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial fluid systems. It features a 4-inch dial with a 0 to 160 psi range and delivers 1 percent of full-scale accuracy, making it suitable for applications where reliable readings are critical. The stainless steel case and fully stainless steel wetted parts provide corrosion resistance in demanding environments. The glycerine or water liquid fill dampens needle vibration and reduces pointer oscillation under fluctuating system pressures. A 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount connection allows direct installation into pipe taps, manifolds, and pressure ports.
This gauge is used in residential and light commercial settings for monitoring water supply pressure, boiler system pressure, pump discharge and suction lines, and compressed air or pneumatic circuits. The lower-mount configuration is standard for panel or inline pipe mounting where the gauge sits upright above the process connection. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors routinely install gauges of this type during system commissioning, service calls, and equipment installations. The liquid fill makes this gauge a preferred choice in high-vibration environments such as pump skids and compressor assemblies.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or new-install pressure gauge for systems using standard 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount gauge ports, including plumbing, HVAC, pumping, and compressed air applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified mechanical contractor in accordance with applicable local codes and ASME B40.100 gauge installation guidelines. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing an existing gauge or installing a new one. Use PTFE thread tape or an approved thread sealant on the NPT threads and tighten with a wrench on the hex fitting only — do not torque through the gauge case. Verify the gauge pressure range is appropriate for the system operating pressure before placing the system back into service.
