The glycerine and water fill dampens pointer vibration, improving readability on systems with pressure fluctuations. Accuracy is rated at plus or minus 3-2-3 percent of scale. The lower-mount, 1/4-inch NPT connection allows direct installation into threaded ports on pumps, compressors, hydraulic lines, and pressurized piping systems.
