The VALUE COLLECTION 115AB25160 is a liquid-filled analog pressure gauge designed for monitoring system pressure in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial fluid service applications. The gauge features a 2.5-inch diameter dial with a 0 to 160 psi range and a stainless steel case for corrosion resistance in demanding environments. A glycerine or water fill dampens pointer vibration and protects the Bourdon tube mechanism during pressure spikes. The 1/4-inch NPT center back mount allows direct panel or pipe installation. Accuracy is rated at 3-2-3 percent of scale across the full range. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians use gauges of this type for pressure testing, system commissioning, and ongoing monitoring of fluid circuits.
This gauge is suited for residential and light commercial installations where a compact, back-mount pressure indicator is required. Typical applications include hydronic heating systems, domestic water supply lines, compressed air circuits, and pump discharge monitoring. The brass wetted parts and bronze Bourdon tube are compatible with water, glycol solutions, and many common non-corrosive process fluids. The glycerine liquid fill makes this gauge appropriate for systems with moderate vibration or pulsating pressure.
Designed as a general-purpose OEM-style replacement or new-installation pressure gauge for residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC hydronic, and compressed air systems using 1/4-inch NPT back-mount connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local codes and the IPC or IFGC as relevant. Depressurize and isolate the system fully before removing any existing gauge or fitting. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads per standard practice, being careful not to over-tighten the brass connection. Do not use this gauge with fluids that are incompatible with brass or bronze wetted components.
