The VALUE COLLECTION 115AB20160 is a liquid-filled analog pressure gauge designed for monitoring system pressure in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial fluid applications. The gauge features a 2-inch dial with a 0 to 160 psi range and carries an accuracy rating of plus or minus 3-2-3 percent of scale, meaning 3 percent at the low and high ends and 2 percent in the mid-range. The case is stainless steel and the wetted parts are brass, making this unit suitable for a range of common media. Glycerine or water fill dampens needle vibration and protects internal components in pulsating or high-vibration service environments. The 1/4-inch NPT center back mount connection allows direct panel or manifold installation.
This gauge is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a compact, reliable pressure indicator is needed. Typical installations include boiler systems, hydronic heating loops, compressed air lines, water supply manifolds, and pump discharge monitoring. The center back mount configuration positions the dial face flush against a panel or bracket, making it a practical choice for instrumentation boards and equipment enclosures. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters commonly install this type of gauge during system commissioning and equipment service.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation gauge for systems requiring a 1/4-inch NPT center back mount analog pressure gauge rated to 160 psi.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician. Always depressurize and isolate the system before removing or installing any pressure gauge. Apply thread sealant tape or pipe dope to the NPT threads in accordance with IPC guidelines, and do not overtighten the brass threaded connection, as this can crack the fitting or distort the case. Verify that the system pressure does not exceed the rated maximum of 160 psi during operation.
