The VALUE COLLECTION 112129 is a mounted flap wheel designed for precision deburring, blending, and surface finishing on metal and other hard materials. The wheel mounts via a 0.125-inch shank for use in die grinders, drill presses, and rotary tools. It measures 0.75 inches in diameter with a 0.625-inch face width, and carries a 180-grit aluminum oxide abrasive on a cloth backing rated X-weight. At a very fine grade, it is suited to light material removal, edge finishing, and pre-polish prep work. Maximum operating speed is 35,000 RPM. Machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and metal fabricators are the primary installers of this type of accessory.
This flap wheel is used in bench and handheld rotary tool applications where controlled, consistent surface contact is needed on tight radii, bores, slots, and contoured surfaces. The small diameter makes it well suited to detail work in restricted areas that larger abrasive wheels cannot reach. Typical applications include weld seam blending, burr removal after drilling or milling, and final surface prep before coating or inspection on ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Designed for use with die grinders, drill presses, and rotary tools accepting a 0.125-inch shank mounted abrasive accessory.
Always verify the tool spindle speed does not exceed the 35,000 RPM maximum rating before mounting. Ensure the shank is fully seated and the collet or chuck is properly tightened before operation. Wear appropriate eye protection and ensure workpiece is securely fixtured. Inspect the flap wheel for damage or loose abrasive flaps before each use and discard if any defects are found.
