The VALUE COLLECTION 112127741 is a VNMG332 style indexable turning insert designed for external and internal turning operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Built from solid carbide with a CVD-applied multilayer coating of TiN, Al2O3, and TiCN, this insert delivers wear resistance and thermal stability across a range of ferrous workpiece materials. The 35-degree diamond (rhombic) shape provides a sharp, low-cutting-force geometry suited to finishing and semi-finishing passes. With a 3/8 inch inscribed circle and a 1/32 inch corner radius, it fits standard VNMG toolholders and is installed by machinists and CNC setup technicians in production and job-shop environments.

This insert is intended for use on steel and ferrous alloys classified under primary workpiece material code P. The IG125T grade with G-style chip breaker geometry is appropriate for finishing to semi-finishing cuts where controlled chip evacuation and surface finish consistency are priorities. It mounts via clamp or pin holding methods in compatible VNMG-style toolholders. The negative side clearance geometry (clearance code N, tolerance code M) provides mechanical stability and edge strength on interrupted or continuous cuts.

Compatibility

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC setup technician. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before indexing or replacing inserts. Seat the insert fully into the toolholder pocket and torque the clamp or tighten the pin fastener according to the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Inspect the insert pocket for chips or debris before seating to prevent rocking or edge chipping.
