The VALUE COLLECTION 112121941 is a DNMG432 indexable turning insert manufactured from solid carbide with a CVD-applied multilayer coating of TiN, Al2O3, and TiCN. The ANSI insert code is DNMG432, corresponding to ISO code DNMG150408. The 55-degree diamond (rhombic) shape and negative side clearance geometry make it well suited for medium to finish turning operations where edge stability and wear resistance are priorities. The insert measures 0.5 inch inscribed circle, carries a 1/32 inch corner radius, and has a thickness of 3/16 inch. The IG125T manufacturer grade paired with the CVD multilayer coating is optimized for cutting steel and ferrous alloys in the P primary workpiece material category.
This insert is intended for use in CNC turning centers and manual lathes equipped with DNMG-style toolholders that accept a negative rake insert with clamp or pin holding. It is appropriate for external turning and profiling of steel workpieces in both production and job-shop environments. The material grade designations C5 and C6 indicate suitability for continuous and light interrupted cuts in ferrous materials. The chip breaker designation G provides chip control across a range of feed rates and depths of cut typical in medium finishing passes.
Designed for use in DNMG-style turning toolholders that accept negative rake inserts held by clamp or pin methods. Suitable for turning applications targeting primary workpiece material code P (steel and ferrous alloys), consistent with material grades C5 and C6.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician with the machine powered down and the spindle fully stopped before indexing or replacing inserts. Use the appropriate torque wrench and insert clamp hardware specified by the toolholder manufacturer — do not substitute fasteners. Inspect the toolholder pocket and seating surfaces for chips or debris before seating the insert to ensure full contact. Follow your facility lockout/tagout procedure before any tooling change on CNC or manual turning equipment.
