The VALUE COLLECTION 112025 is a mounted flap wheel designed for surface finishing, deburring, and blending operations on metal and other materials. It uses aluminum oxide abrasive on a cloth backing rated at X-weight, delivering consistent medium-grade cutting action at up to 40,000 RPM. The 5/8-inch diameter and 5/8-inch face width make it well suited for work in tight spaces, contoured surfaces, and internal bores. The 1/8-inch shank mounts directly to a rotary tool, die grinder, or drill press collet. Machinists, fabricators, and tool-and-die tradespeople are the primary installers and users of this wheel.
This flap wheel is used in light industrial and shop settings where controlled material removal and surface blending are required on small-diameter workpieces or confined areas. Its compact size and shank-mount design allow it to reach recessed slots, tube interiors, and complex profiles that larger abrasive wheels cannot access. It is appropriate for ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, and some plastics where aluminum oxide abrasive is compatible with the workpiece material.
Designed as a shank-mount abrasive flap wheel compatible with rotary tools, die grinders, and drill presses equipped with a 1/8-inch collet or chuck.
Installation is performed by machinists or fabricators using a rotary tool or die grinder with a 1/8-inch collet. Ensure the tool spindle speed does not exceed 40,000 RPM before mounting. Secure the shank fully in the collet and verify the set screw or collet nut is tightened before operation. Always wear appropriate eye protection and follow shop safety protocols when operating abrasive accessories.
