The VALUE COLLECTION 111CL35V30 is an analog Bourdon tube pressure gauge designed for measuring system pressure in plumbing, HVAC, and light industrial applications. It features a 3.5-inch dial with a compound pressure range of -30 to 30 psi, allowing both vacuum and positive pressure readings on a single instrument. The ABS case houses brass wetted parts and a bronze Bourdon tube, making it suitable for use with water, air, and many compatible fluids. The 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount connection allows direct installation into threaded ports on pipes, manifolds, and equipment panels. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors commonly install this gauge as a service or monitoring instrument.
This gauge is appropriate for residential and light commercial systems where a compact, cost-effective analog pressure indicator is needed. Typical applications include water supply monitoring, hydronic heating system pressure checks, compressed air lines, and vacuum-side readings on refrigeration or pump systems. The compound scale covering -30 to 30 psi makes it particularly useful in installations that require vacuum monitoring alongside positive pressure, such as suction-side pump monitoring or vacuum pump output verification. The dry, non-liquid-filled construction keeps weight low and suits environments where liquid-fill is not required.
Designed as a direct-install replacement or service gauge for any system with a 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount gauge port operating within a -30 to 30 psi pressure range.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or mechanical contractor. Shut off system pressure and relieve any residual pressure before removing or installing the gauge. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads per IPC and IFGC guidelines to prevent leaks. Do not over-tighten the brass fitting, as this can damage the case or distort the Bourdon tube connection.
