The VALUE COLLECTION 10107-MSC is a dry-use sanding sheet abrasive designed for general material removal and surface finishing tasks. The sheet uses aluminum oxide as the cutting mineral, a durable synthetic abrasive well suited to ferrous metals, wood, and composites. At 150 grit, it falls in the very fine grade range, making it appropriate for final surface preparation, light stock removal, and finish sanding between coats. C-weight paper backing provides a balance of flexibility and tear resistance, keeping the sheet stable during hand sanding and orbital pad use. This product is sold and used dry only and is not load-resistant, meaning it is best suited to softer materials or clean cutting applications where loading is managed by technique or air cleaning.
This sanding sheet is used across a wide range of trades and maintenance applications. Common scenarios include surface prep before priming or painting, deburring metal components, smoothing filler or body material, and finish work on wood assemblies. The very fine 150 grit is a common intermediate or final step in progressive sanding sequences. It is appropriate for use in fabrication shops, maintenance facilities, and general contractor work where consistent finish quality is needed on flat or gently contoured surfaces.
Designed as a standard flat sanding sheet for use with compatible hand sanding blocks and orbital sanding tools that accept sheet-style abrasives. Confirm sheet dimensions match your tool or block before use.
Sanding sheets are installed and replaced by maintenance technicians, fabricators, and general tradespeople without specialized licensing. Secure the sheet firmly to the sanding block or tool pad before use to prevent slipping. Do not use this sheet wet or with liquid lubricants, as it is rated for dry use only. Inspect the sheet before each use and replace when the abrasive surface shows signs of loading or wear to maintain consistent finish quality.
