The VALUE COLLECTION 07332 is a concrete wedge expansion anchor designed for secure, load-bearing fastening into concrete and masonry substrates. Constructed from 304 stainless steel, this anchor delivers corrosion resistance in demanding environments where carbon steel hardware would be at risk. The anchor measures 5/8 inch in diameter with a 4-1/2 inch overall length and features a hex head with hex drive configuration for installation with standard wrenches or impact drivers. With a minimum embedment depth of 2-3/4 inches and a 3-inch thread length, it provides dependable holding strength for structural and equipment-mounting applications. Sold in packs of 5.
This wedge expansion anchor is suited for residential and commercial construction, mechanical equipment anchoring, structural steel-to-concrete connections, and utility installations. Typical applications include anchoring conduit supports, equipment pads, structural brackets, and framing hardware to poured concrete slabs, walls, and footings. The stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for exterior, wet, or chemically exposed environments where long-term corrosion resistance is required. Licensed contractors and tradespeople in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general construction regularly specify this anchor type for code-compliant fastenings into concrete.
Designed as an OEM-style wedge expansion anchor for use in solid concrete and masonry; requires a 5/8 inch diameter drill bit for proper hole preparation.
Installation should be performed by a licensed contractor or qualified tradesperson in accordance with applicable building codes. Drill the hole to the specified diameter using a hammer drill and carbide-tipped bit, and clear the hole of dust and debris before inserting the anchor. Never install into cracked, hollow, or unsound concrete, as holding values will be compromised. Torque the nut to the anchor manufacturer's published specification for the anchor size and base material, and verify embedment depth before final tightening.
