The VALUE COLLECTION 01-1009 is a 7-inch silicon carbide fiber disc designed for aggressive material removal on hard surfaces. With a 24-grit, very coarse grade abrasive bonded to a fiber backing with a resinoid bond, this disc is built for fast cutting action on stone, masonry, non-ferrous metals, and other hard materials. The 7/8-inch arbor hole mounts directly to standard angle grinders via an arbor hole attachment. It is rated to a maximum speed of 8,500 RPM. Machinists, fabricators, and surface prep professionals install this type of disc for heavy stock removal and weld prep applications.

This disc is suited for industrial and shop environments where aggressive surface conditioning is required.
