The USA INDUSTRIALS BULK-RS-NUS50-241 is a stock-length neoprene rubber sheet cut to 12 inches wide by 24 inches long at 0.125 inches thick. Neoprene is a general-purpose synthetic rubber rated for a wide service temperature range, moderate oil and weather resistance, and consistent compression behavior. This sheet carries a Shore A durometer of 45 to 55, placing it in the medium-soft range - suitable for gasketing, sealing, vibration isolation, and cushioning applications across HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical trade work. Tensile strength is rated at 2500 psi. The plain backing means no adhesive layer, allowing the installer to cut, punch, or fabricate the sheet to fit the specific application.
This neoprene sheet is suited for use as cut-to-size gasket stock, equipment isolation pads, flange seals, pipe hangers, and general mechanical sealing in residential and light commercial installations. Fabrication shops and field technicians both use sheet stock like this to make custom gaskets when pre-formed parts are unavailable or when an OEM shape is discontinued. The 12 by 24 inch format provides enough material for multiple small gaskets or one larger isolation application.
Designed as general-purpose neoprene gasket and sealing sheet stock for HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical applications requiring a medium-soft elastomer rated for moderate temperatures and compression loads.
This sheet is typically cut and fabricated by HVAC technicians, pipefitters, or millwrights using a sharp utility knife, die punch, or gasket cutter. Always shut down and depressurize the system before replacing or installing any gasket or seal. Verify the service temperature and chemical exposure of the application against the material ratings before installation. Follow applicable mechanical and plumbing codes, including IFGC and IPC requirements, when using rubber sheet stock in gas or fluid sealing applications.
