The US MOTORS S5E2ACR is a three-phase, premium-efficient AC motor built for continuous-duty industrial and commercial applications. Rated at 5 horsepower and 1750 RPM, it runs on a 60 Hz supply and is housed in a Totally Enclosed Fan-Cooled (TEFC) enclosure that protects internal components from dust, moisture, and debris. The 184 frame with C-Face mount provides a standardized bolt pattern for direct coupling to pumps, compressors, fans, and other driven equipment. Double-shielded ball bearings support the load at both ends, and Class F insulation handles elevated operating temperatures common in demanding service environments. Three-phase motor installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with NEC Article 430 and applicable local codes. Disconnect and lock out all power sources before removing the existing motor or making any wiring connections. Verify supply voltage and phase rotation match the motor nameplate before energizing. Ensure the mounting surface and coupling or sheave are properly aligned to avoid premature bearing wear.
