The US MOTORS H32P1D is a three-phase, premium efficient AC motor built for demanding industrial and commercial applications. It delivers 1-1/2 horsepower through a totally enclosed, fan-cooled (TEFC) enclosure that protects internal components from dust, moisture, and contaminants common in harsh service environments. The cast iron frame provides structural rigidity and heat dissipation under continuous load. Rated at 3505 RPM at 60 Hz, the motor accepts multiple voltage configurations including 208 to 230 volts, 460 volts, 190 volts, and 380 volts, making it adaptable across North American and international supply voltages. Insulation Class F construction supports elevated operating temperatures without degradation.
This motor is suited for general equipment drives and harsh environment installations where a sealed enclosure is required. The horizontal-footed mount in a NEMA 143 frame makes it a standard fit for pump drives, compressors, conveyor systems, fans, and similar rotating equipment in light industrial and commercial settings. It operates at 60 Hz or 50 Hz, supporting both domestic and export applications. Licensed HVAC technicians, industrial electricians, and mechanical contractors are the primary installers. Single-speed operation simplifies drive integration with across-the-line or variable frequency drive (VFD) starters.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for three-phase, 1-1/2 HP TEFC motors in NEMA 143 frame horizontal-footed applications including general equipment drives and harsh environment machinery.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. Disconnect and lock out all power to the equipment before removing the existing motor or making any wiring connections. Verify supply voltage and phase sequence match the motor nameplate before energizing. When connecting to a variable frequency drive, confirm the drive is rated for use with three-phase induction motors and follow the drive manufacturer's carrier frequency recommendations.
