The US MOTORS H2P3D is a two-horsepower, three-phase premium efficient AC motor built for continuous-duty industrial and commercial applications. It features a TEFC (totally enclosed fan-cooled) cast iron enclosure, providing robust protection against dust, moisture, and contaminants in harsh or outdoor environments. Rated at 1175 nameplate RPM on 60 Hz power, the H2P3D operates on 208 to 230 volts or 460 volts at 60 Hz, and 190 or 380 volts at 50 Hz, making it suitable for both domestic and international installations. Full load amperage is 6.4 to 6.2 amps at 208-230 volts and 3.1 amps at 460 volts. Licensed electricians and mechanical contractors install this motor in pumps, fans, conveyors, and other general equipment requiring a dependable three-phase drive.
The H2P3D is designed for general equipment and harsh environment applications across light industrial, commercial, and process settings. Its horizontal footed mount fits standard 184-frame bases, allowing straightforward drop-in replacement or new installation on equipment designed around NEMA 184-frame footprints. The 50 Hz voltage ratings extend usability to international or export equipment. With a Class F insulation rating and double shielded ball bearings, this motor handles elevated ambient temperatures and extended run cycles without derating.

Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC Article 430 governing motor circuits, disconnects, and overload protection. Disconnect and lock out all power sources before removing the existing motor or making any wiring connections. Verify that the supply voltage and phase match the nameplate ratings before energizing, and confirm that the driven load shaft alignment is within acceptable tolerance to prevent premature bearing wear. Do not exceed the service factor rating of 1.00 for continuous-duty load calculations.
