The US MOTORS EE195 is a three-phase, standard-efficiency AC motor built for demanding industrial and commercial applications. Rated at 1.5 horsepower and 3490 RPM nameplate speed, it runs on 60 Hz power and draws 4.8 to 4.4 amps at full load on standard voltages, with a 2.3-amp draw on the high-voltage tap. The TEFC enclosure keeps contaminants out of the windings, making it well-suited for dusty or moderately wet environments. Ball bearings support the shaft, and Class F insulation protects the windings from heat. The 143C aluminum frame keeps weight reasonable at 29 pounds. Licensed electricians and motor mechanics are the primary installers.
The EE195 is designed for special-application installations where a C-Face mount is required. The 143C frame with C-Face mounting allows direct coupling to pumps, blowers, compressors, and gearboxes that accept this frame standard. With reversible rotation, the motor can be wired for either direction of shaft travel to suit the driven equipment. The service factor of 1.15 provides a small overload margin for intermittent peak loads. Single-speed operation keeps control requirements straightforward. Typical installations are found in light industrial, commercial HVAC, and process equipment settings.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation motor for three-phase applications requiring a 143C C-Face frame. The Dayton cross-reference part number listed in supplier data is 3N473.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician familiar with three-phase motor wiring and local NEC requirements. Disconnect and lock out all power before mounting or wiring the motor. Verify that the driven load matches the motor horsepower, frame, and RPM ratings before coupling. Do not exceed the ambient operating temperature limit of 40 degrees F minimum rating; confirm the installation environment falls within the motor nameplate ambient range.
