The UPONOR WIRLFRED3412 is a lead-free brass reducing coupling designed for use with Uponor ProPEX expansion systems. It connects 1/2-inch PEX tubing on one end to 3/4-inch PEX tubing on the other, allowing trades to transition between two common pipe sizes within a single fitting. Constructed from lead-free brass, it meets drinking water safety requirements for potable water applications. This coupling is installed using the ProPEX expansion method, where a ProPEX tool expands the PEX ring and pipe end before the fitting is inserted and the ring contracts to form a secure, leak-resistant joint.

This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing systems where a size transition between 1/2-inch and 3/4-inch PEX lines is required.
