The UPONOR Q4751537 is a reducing tee fitting designed for use with ProPEX expansion-style PEX piping systems. Constructed from modified polyphenylsulfone (MPPSU), this fitting provides a durable, corrosion-resistant connection at three ports with nominal sizes of 1-1/2 inches, 1-1/4 inches, and 3/4 inches. ProPEX end connections require an expansion tool to expand the pipe and ring before seating the fitting, creating a strong, leak-resistant joint as the material recovers. Licensed plumbers and hydronic system installers work with this fitting in both new construction and retrofit applications.
This reducing tee is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing and hydronic heating distribution systems where branch takeoffs at reduced diameters are needed. The 3/4-inch branch outlet allows a smaller supply or return line to split from a larger 1-1/2-inch main run, with the 1-1/4-inch outlet continuing the reduced main. It is commonly used in manifold-fed systems, radiant heating loops, and domestic water distribution where flow balancing across multiple zones is required.
Designed as an OEM-style ProPEX fitting for use with Uponor ProPEX PEX-a pipe and compatible expansion rings at the stated nominal sizes of 1-1/2 inches, 1-1/4 inches, and 3/4 inches.
Installation requires a calibrated ProPEX expansion tool and the correct size PEX expansion rings for each port. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before cutting into any existing piping. Work should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and ASTM F1960 expansion fitting standards. Allow expanded connections to fully recover before pressurizing the system.
