The UPONOR Q4751337 is a reducing tee fitting designed for use in ProPEX expansion-style PEX piping systems. It connects two 1-1/4-inch runs to a 3/4-inch branch, allowing controlled flow reduction within a distribution system. Constructed from modified polyphenylsulfone (MPPSU), this fitting offers high-temperature and high-pressure resistance suited to hydronic heating, potable water, and radiant floor applications. Installation requires a ProPEX expansion tool with the appropriate ring and jaw set. Licensed plumbers and mechanical contractors are the typical installers for this fitting.
This fitting is used in residential and light commercial plumbing and hydronic systems where a main line must branch to a smaller supply. The 1-1/4 x 1-1/4 x 3/4 inch configuration is common in whole-home water distribution manifold feeds, radiant heating supply and return branches, and recirculation system layouts. The ProPEX end style requires expansion rings — either ASTM F1960 cold-expansion or Uponor-compatible PEX rings — to be installed on all three ports prior to connection.
Designed for use with Uponor ProPEX expansion-style PEX piping systems using ASTM F1960 cold-expansion connections. Fits 1-1/4-inch PEX pipe on both run ports and 3/4-inch PEX pipe on the branch port with the appropriate ProPEX expansion rings.
Installation must be performed using a calibrated ProPEX expansion tool fitted with the correct jaw sizes for each port. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the system before cutting into any existing line. Expansion rings must be fully seated on the pipe before expanding and seating on the fitting. Follow applicable plumbing codes, including IPC and local amendments, for fitting support, pipe slope, and pressure-testing requirements after installation.
