The UPONOR Q4751331 is a ProPEX reducing tee fitting used in PEX piping systems for residential and commercial plumbing and hydronic distribution applications. Manufactured from modified polyphenylsulfone (PPSU), this fitting accepts ProPEX expansion connections on all three ports, with nominal sizing of 1-1/4 x 1-1/4 x 1 inches. The PPSU material provides high heat and chemical resistance, making it well suited for hot and cold water distribution lines. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting as part of an Uponor ProPEX expansion-style system.
This reducing tee is designed for use in residential and light commercial water distribution systems where a branch reduction from a 1-1/4-inch main line to a 1-inch branch is required. It is commonly used in manifold-based PEX systems, radiant heating distribution, and potable water supply rough-in. The ProPEX end style requires the use of an expansion tool and ProPEX rings or expansion sleeves prior to connection.
Designed as an OEM-style fitting for use within the Uponor ProPEX expansion PEX piping system. Requires ProPEX expansion rings or sleeves and an Uponor-compatible expansion tool for proper installation.
Installation must be performed by a licensed plumber familiar with ProPEX expansion-style connections. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before cutting into any existing piping. Use only the correct Uponor ProPEX expansion tool and appropriately sized expansion rings for each port; do not substitute with crimp or clamp tooling. Local plumbing codes, including IPC requirements, govern pipe sizing, support spacing, and pressure testing after installation.
