The UPONOR Q2267550 is a 6-port branch tee fitting designed for use in ProPEX expansion-style PEX plumbing systems. Manufactured from polysulfone, this fitting connects a 3/4 inch main line to multiple branch lines in a single manifold-style junction, reducing the number of individual fittings required in a system. It is intended for domestic water distribution applications and is installed by licensed plumbers working on residential or light commercial water supply systems. The polysulfone construction provides chemical resistance and durability suited to potable water service.
This branch tee is used where a single supply line must be split into multiple branch runs, a common configuration in home-run or trunk-and-branch PEX distribution layouts. The 6-port configuration allows a plumber to serve multiple fixtures or zones from one centralized fitting, reducing joint count and simplifying rough-in work. It is suited for new construction and remodel applications where ProPEX-compatible fittings are specified.
Designed as an OEM-style fitting for 3/4 inch ProPEX expansion PEX plumbing systems in domestic water distribution applications.
Installation requires a ProPEX expansion tool and appropriately sized PEX expansion rings; this fitting is not compatible with crimp or clamp-style PEX connections. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the system before cutting into any existing line. Work should comply with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC requirements. A licensed plumber should verify fitting orientation and support requirements per the system design.
