The UPONOR lf4571010 is a ProPEX lead-free brass female threaded adapter designed to connect Uponor PEX tubing to female NPT threads in plumbing and hydronic systems. Manufactured from C69300 lead-free brass and built to ASTM F877/F1960 standards, this adapter features the ProPEX expansion fitting system on one end for use with hePEX plus or AquaPEX tubing, and a female threaded connection on the other. The ProPEX method requires no torches, glues, solvents, or gauges, making installation faster and safer. Each package includes 10 adapters. The fitting carries the NSF us-pw-G marking, confirming lead-free compliance with state legislation and the U.S. Safe Drinking Water Act.
This adapter is suited for residential and commercial applications including hot and cold domestic potable water systems and radiant heating and cooling systems. It is also listed for snow and ice melting, permafrost protection, turf conditioning, and fire safety systems. Licensed plumbers install this fitting as part of a complete lead-free solution from the main inlet through to fixture connections, pairing it with Uponor PEX tubing and the ProPEX Out-of-the-Wall Support System where applicable.
Designed for use with Uponor hePEX plus and AquaPEX tubing via the ProPEX expansion fitting system. Listed under ANSI/NSF 14/61, CAN/CSA B137.5, IPC, UPC, NSPC, NPC, HUD MR 1269, ICC ESR 1099, UL 1821, and ULC/ORD C199P for use in potable water, plumbing, radiant heating and cooling, snow and ice melting, permafrost protection, turf conditioning, and fire safety systems.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before beginning work. The ProPEX end requires an expansion tool sized for 1 inch tubing — no open flame, solvent cement, or press tooling is needed. Verify compliance with local code requirements under IPC, UPC, or applicable regional plumbing code before installation.
