The UPONOR F4341000 is a 1-inch nominal AquaPEX coil tubing manufactured using the Engel process, which produces a PEX-a crosslinked polyethylene pipe. PEX-a offers superior flexibility and shape memory compared to PEX-b or PEX-c alternatives, making it well suited for demanding plumbing and radiant heating installations. The tubing measures 0.862 inches inside diameter and 1.125 inches outside diameter, supplied in a 100-foot coil. It carries the white and blue color coding conventional to cold-water and general plumbing service lines. Licensed plumbers and mechanical contractors install this product in both new construction and retrofit applications.
AquaPEX tubing is used in residential and light commercial potable water distribution, hydronic radiant floor heating, snow-melt systems, and fire suppression where approved. The 100-foot coil length reduces the number of field joints required in long runs, which lowers the potential for leak points. The 1-inch nominal size handles the flow demands of main branch distribution lines feeding multiple fixtures or zone manifolds. This tubing is manufactured domestically and is intended for use with compatible expansion-style PEX fittings and tools.

Installation must be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes, the International Plumbing Code, and the manufacturer's published guidelines. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before cutting into any existing system. PEX-a expansion fittings require the correct expansion ring and expander head sized for 1-inch nominal tubing. Avoid sharp bends below the minimum bend radius and protect tubing from prolonged UV exposure where it will not be enclosed.
