The UPONOR F4340750 is a 100-foot coil of 3/4-inch nominal AquaPEX tubing manufactured via the Engel process, producing a PEX-a classification — the most cross-linked grade of crosslinked polyethylene available. With an inside diameter of 0.671 inches and an outside diameter of 0.875 inches, this white and blue marked tubing delivers the flexibility and memory characteristics that PEX-a is known for in hot and cold potable water distribution and hydronic radiant heating systems. Licensed plumbers and mechanical contractors select this product for its conformance to domestic manufacturing standards and its compatibility with Uponor expansion-style fittings.
This tubing is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing rough-in, manifold-based home-run distribution systems, and hydronic radiant floor or wall heating loops. The 100-foot coil length makes it practical for longer branch runs or radiant loop installations where a single continuous length reduces fittings and potential leak points. The dual white and blue color marking helps installers distinguish cold-water or return lines at rough-in and inspection stages.
Designed for use with Uponor expansion-style PEX-a fittings and rings in potable water distribution and hydronic radiant heating applications where 3/4-inch nominal PEX-a tubing is specified.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or mechanical contractor in accordance with local plumbing codes and ASTM F876/F877 standards. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the system before cutting into any existing lines. PEX-a expansion fittings require a compatible expansion tool sized for 3/4-inch; do not use crimp or clamp fittings intended for PEX-b or PEX-c with this tubing. Maintain minimum bend-radius requirements and protect tubing from prolonged UV exposure.
