Product Description

The UPONOR f3041000 is a 1-inch PEX-a cross-linked polyethylene tubing supplied in a 100-foot coil, color-coded blue for cold water identification. Rated to 200 degrees F at 80 psi and 160 psi at 73.4 degrees F, this non-oxygen-barrier tubing is engineered for potable hot and cold water distribution systems. With an outside diameter of 1.125 inches and an inside diameter of 0.862 inches, it is manufactured and listed to ASTM F876 and F877 and certified to NSF Standards 14 and 61. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this tubing in residential and light commercial plumbing systems.

This tubing is used primarily in hot and cold potable water distribution systems and in hydronic heating applications where the system contains no ferrous corrodible components or where any ferrous components are isolated from the tubing. It is not suitable for open hydronic systems with ferrous components unless proper isolation is in place. Installation Notes
