The UPONOR f1090375 is a 3/8-inch-diameter, 400-foot coil of white AquaPEX PEX-A tubing used in residential and light commercial plumbing and hydronic systems. PEX-A is manufactured using the Engel method, which produces a highly flexible, cross-linked polyethylene pipe with shape memory that resists kinking during installation. At 18 pounds per coil, this tubing is lightweight enough for single-person handling on the job site. Licensed plumbers and hydronic heating contractors install this pipe for domestic potable water distribution, radiant floor heating, and snow-melt applications.
The f1090375 coil is suited for residential potable water supply lines, radiant panel systems, and hydronic heating loops where a smaller-diameter tube is required. The 3/8-inch size is commonly used for home-run manifold distribution systems, low-flow fixture branch lines, and baseboard hydronic circuits. Its white color coding is standard for cold-water lines in multi-pipe installations, helping technicians identify circuits quickly during rough-in and service.
Designed for use with 3/8-inch PEX-A fittings and expansion-style connections compatible with UPONOR AquaPEX tubing. Verify fitting system and connection method before installation.
Installation of PEX-A potable water pipe should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and IPC or IRC requirements. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before making any connections. Use only fittings and tools rated for PEX-A expansion connections, as PEX-A requires an expansion tool rather than crimp or clamp-style fittings. Maintain minimum bend radius specifications for the pipe diameter to avoid flow restriction, even though PEX-A resists permanent kinking better than other PEX grades.
