The UPONOR F1060500 is a 1/2 inch nominal AquaPEX cross-linked polyethylene tubing supplied in a 300-foot coil. With an inside diameter of 0.475 inches and an outside diameter of 0.625 inches, this white PEX-a tubing is engineered for potable water distribution, hydronic radiant heating, and general plumbing rough-in applications. PEX-a construction provides superior flexibility and freeze-damage resistance compared to PEX-b or PEX-c alternatives. Licensed plumbers and hydronic system installers use this tubing for residential and light commercial jobs where long continuous runs reduce fitting count and labor time.
F1060500 is suited for hot and cold potable water supply lines, radiant floor heating loops, snow and ice melt systems, and hydronic baseboard or panel applications. The 300-foot coil length is practical for whole-house rough-in or multi-zone radiant manifold installations where minimizing field joints is a priority. The white jacket color aids in identifying tubing runs during inspection. This tubing is designed to work within Uponor ProPEX expansion fitting systems, which require a ProPEX expansion tool and the appropriate ring size for 1/2 inch connections.

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or hydronic technician in accordance with local plumbing codes and the IPC or applicable state code. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before cutting into any existing system. ProPEX connections require an Uponor-approved expansion tool; do not substitute crimp or clamp fittings, as they are not compatible with PEX-a expansion ends. Maintain minimum bend radius requirements to avoid kinking, and protect tubing from prolonged UV exposure if routed in areas with direct sunlight.
